As part of the Microsoft Excel development team's ongoing commitment to making the product easier to use and in response to user input, we present the Internet Assistant for Microsoft Excel. The Internet Assistant for Microsoft Excel is another in a series of add-on Wizards being made available to enhance your use of Microsoft Excel. The Internet Assistant for Microsoft Excel helps you to convert Microsoft Excel spreadsheets into HTML tables in either a separate HTML file or as an insert in a pre-existing HTML file.

The Internet Assistant for Micrsoft Excel can be used with the following Microsoft Excel versions:
* Microsoft Excel for Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows NT 3.51
II. INSTALLATION AND USE
========================
To Install the File Conversion Wizard
-------------------------------------------
1. Double Click on Setup.exe in the \Setup directory. (This Setup routine will install HTML.XLA into your Microsoft Office and Excel directories (By default, C:\MSOFFICE\EXCEL\LIBRARY).
2. Run Microsoft Excel.
3. On the Tools menu, select Add-Ins.
4. Check the Internet Assistant Wizard checkbox.
5. Click OK.
To Use the Internet Assistant Wizard
---------------------------------------
1. Under the Tools menu choose Internet Assistant Wizard.
2. Select the cells containing the table you want to convert. Click Next.
3. Select whether to create a separate HTML file or to insert the table in an existing HTML file. Click Next.
4. Enter the header and footer information. Click Next.
5. Select whether to convert just the data or to retain formatting. Click Next.
6. Enter the pathname that you want to save. Click Finish.
7. An HTML table will be generated.
III. UPDATES

The Microsoft Excel team plans to update this and other wizards on a regular basis. We will make them available in the following ways after final release:
